Newcastle Dales Dash - Sunday 2nd Dec 2007 A small but perfectly formed turnout at the Newcastle Dales Dash, saw Dave Owen battle with Adri over 4th & 5th place. Adri just managed to take it from Dave, who finished in 39.44. Taking nothing away from Adri, I did wonder what would have happened if Dave had worn studs instead of racing flats, on what was a very muddy, slippery, treacherous cross country course !! Suppose that’s what happens when you don’t let Maria get you ready for the race !!!! It was also a very pleasing and welcome sight to see Paul Davies in his first outing in his new Moorlands vest. Made me a happy woman. Paul ran to the race, finished 6th 40.28, then ran to work. Great to see you out Paul.

| | Following his run in the Pudding race the day before, having had his Sunday Footie match cancelled, Matt Clowes decided to race again and finished an amazing 37th 50.32 in a very adult field. Ian Coates made up the SMAC compliment finishing a respectable 46th in 51.35. Results from Apedale here photos here |
