Tony Rogers (SMAC)
Ladymoor Gate Farm
Stoke on Trent
The club year runs from the 1st April each year to the end of March the next.
We have new Membership Management System.
The procedure to follow in order to join the club is detailed on the 'Club Joining Process' page.
Please do NOT create a new account if you are already a member, or were previously a member of the club. We have already done this for you. There are dormant accounts for all members of the club. If you need to change your details please contact the membership secretary for details on how to log in to your account.
At the moment only new members to the club should be creating new accounts. If you wish to add a family member to your club membership, please contact the membership secretary.
If you have any difficulties, please contact the membership secretary, and they will help.
Cheques should be made out to "Staffs Moorlands AC".
Bank account details for BACS transfer:
'Barclays Bank'. Sort: 20 48 70. Account number: 60166464.
Reference: this should be the initials and surname of the member(s)
Subs are due on 1st April each year.
We will not renew members with outstanding subs until they have been paid.
If you have not paid this year, please do so immediately, unless the Membership Secretary has already made arrangements with you.
Rejoiners: If you previously left the club with outstanding fees due, you will be expected to pay these in addition to any fees that are due due to the re-joining process.
We assume that if you are a member in one particular year, then you wish to remain a member the next, unless you resign in advance. The reason for this is that we have financial commitments (eg. affiliation to UKA) that must be settled before most members get around to paying their subs. It also allows the club to plan its finances for the forthcoming year.
If you do not wish to renew, then you must resign before 7 days before the next AGM, which is usually in the first or second week of February each year.
The membership fee does not include the affiliation for UKA. It is a personal decision whether you wish to affiliate, but you may find that you are unable to be entered in some races as a consequence. The club handles the affiliation on your behalf. If you are currently affiliated and wish to become unaffiliated, then you must let the Membership Secretary know before the end of February, otherwise your affiliation will continue, and you will be charged.
Juniors who are new members of the club do not need to pay a membership fee until the following membership year. This means that they can get between 1 and 364 free days of membership. It does not entitle them to a free year from the date that they join.
Juniors are those people whose age on 1st March is not yet 18. All others are deemed to be seniors. Those members that are 60 years of age or over on 1st April are entitled to a reduced membership payment equivalent to the Junior membership fee currently in force.
Family membership is charged at the standard rate for adults + 1 x the current Junior rate for an unlimited number of Juniors. Each individual member of the family must pay the UKA affiliation fee on top of the Family Membership fee, if they need to be affiliated to UKA.
We do not offer a reduced membership fee to individual members who are students.
In order to be eligible for grants or other financial support from the club, you must have paid your subs in full, and have been issued with proof of membership.
If you wish to be affiliated to UKA you must pay the fee whether it is for 1 day or 1 year.
Junior Membership (not including Affiliation) is £8 or £23 with Affiliation.
Senior Membership (not including Affiliation) is £16 or £31 with Affiliation.
Over 60s concession £8 or £23 with Affiliation.
Affiliation to UKA £15 for 2018.
Affiliation fees should be paid for each familiy member wishing to affiliate to UKA on top of the membership fee.
Associate Members pay no fees, but may not enter races as a member.
